Fairfield House

Location Fairfield, CT

Typology Private Residential

Status Completed

A selective interior renovation of a Fairfield home, refining the floor plan while preserving the architectural presence of each room. The clients wanted spaces that felt substantial and grounded, with a cohesive design language flowing throughout.

The design balances contemporary materials with classical detailing. Marble, brass, and rich woods anchor the spaces, while custom cabinetry and architectural elements including wall paneling create continuity room to room. Dark finishes and sculptural details ground the interiors, while natural light and material warmth keep the spaces from feeling austere.

Every room is self-contained but part of a larger conversation. Functional and refined. Contemporary and rooted.
