For their sprawling New York City penthouse, internationally renowned fashion designer Michael Kors and husband Lance Le Pere partnered with Groves & Co. and collaborated alongside Annex Works. The clients desired a casual formality—a balance of practicality and indulgence, comfort and rigor—achieved through rich materials and
restrained detail.

The design bridges refined elegance with an earthy warmth. Expansive living areas feature high ceilings and bespoke finishes, connected yet easily separated by oversized sliding doors to shift between an open loft setting and intimate private sectors. Throughout the residence, iconic art, custom millwork, and curated vintage touches create a sophisticated salon atmosphere that opens out to panoramic views of lower Manhattan and the Hudson River.
